WHAT IS CAREER CAMP? 

CEU Career Camp is a series of career development programs designed to kickstart your progress towards your career goals. Sessions focus on the most pressing questions and topics that you may face. From longer workshops that cover a specific topic in depth, to “grab and go” style lunch break info sessions, there is something for everyone.

''START FROM YOUR STRENGTHS'' WORKSHOP

Self-knowledge in an important part of the job search and application process. Join this workshop that focuses on the concept of strengths. Learn about tools for identifying them and incorporating these insights into application materials including CVs/resumes, cover letters, and interviews. The workshop includes individual work and peer conversation, so be ready to share!

BELBIN ROLES - LEARN ABOUT YOUR BEHAVIOUR IN TEAM SITUATIONS

Everyone has strengths: talents, knowledge and skills which can be used to advantage at any kind of work. Belbin Team Roles are used to identify behavioral strengths and weaknesses in the workplace. Attend the short session in order to identify your team role and learn about what it’s like.

CAREER NETWORKING: WHERE TO FIND PEOPLE YOU CAN LEARN FROM?

The brief session during the lunch break will discuss a few sources participants can use to identify career connections (CEU alumni, former classmates, employees of dream organizations, etc.). Practical ways for first contact online and sample messages recommended by the CEU Career Office will be also discussed.
