Join our Human Resources Office and play a key role in supporting our academic and professional community through efficient and compliant HR administration. We are looking for a detail-oriented and service-minded HR Coordinator who is interested in contributing to the success of a dynamic international academic community. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of contract-related agreements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal procedures, and coordinating closely with various university departments and external partners. 

The initial contract is until July 31, 2027 with the possibility of renewal. 

 

Duties and responsibilities 

 

  • Managing HR contracting processes, advising on type of contract and preparing HR related contracts (employment, assignment/freelancer) and related documents
  • Maintaining compliance with labor laws, company policies, and internal procedures
  • Collecting and managing contract related data and legal documents
  • Collecting data for contract preparation through SAP SF and Zendesk ticketing system 
  • Coordinating necessary clarification of various problematic matters with the Payroll Office, Finance Office, Research Support Office and Educational Outreach Office in case of questions or problems
  • Consulting with immigration specialists regarding the contracting of Non-EEA and EEA citizens 
  • Arranging submission of contract packages for final approval and signature to the Rector / Pro-Rectors / COO, collecting additional information from the units if necessary 
  • Works in the designated databases (Nexon, SAP SF, etc.), enters data and maintains accurate records and ensures proper documentation in the HR system
  • Cooperation within HRO and with other units of CEU

 

Qualifications 

 

  • A university degree, preferably in fields related to HR or Law
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience, preferably in HR contracting
  • General knowledge of Hungarian employment laws and practices, and experience of working in multicultural environment and/or at a university
  • Experience with SAP Success Factors, NexonBér, NexonTime, Zendesk ticketing system
  • Appropriate communication skills both in English and Hungarian with high level customer service skills and mindset (professional, polite, clear and patient)
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines with strong time and stress management skills
