Join us for CEU's Living Library Alumni-Student Career Networking Event! 

Date: Friday, May 3, 2019 - 4:30pm to 6:00pm

We want to create a space where members of our diverse CEU Alumni and Student communities can engage with each other on issues connected to career development in an informal yet informative way. CEU students will have the chance to have three 15-minute long reading round sessions with alumni of their interest/choice. Register below and be part of our event!

LESLIE ADER (NATI, ‘17)

Leslie Ader is a researcher and self-advocate with four years of experience specializing in minority/disability rights and is currently an assistante-doctorante at the NCCR-on the move at the Swiss National Science Foundation.

NARMIN BASHIRZADE (ECON, ‘11)

Narmin Bashirzade is a business process owner at French corporation, Schneider Electric with six years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, and Global Supply Chain.

SAŠA ČVRLJAK (IRES, ’09)

Saša Čvrljak is a Croatian diplomat and EU affairs expert with ten years of professional working experience in the government, EU-project management and academic sectors. He was recently seconded to the Austrian Federal Chancellery in Vienna and he also pursued a traineeship in the European Commission in Brussels.

BRIAN FABO (POLS ‘12)

Brian Fabo is a researcher and data analyst with six years of experience in advocate central banking, Brussels-based and regional EU think tanks and academia. He is mostly into combining social science with anything data related.

ANNA KOMBIKOVA (LEGS, ‘12)

Anna Kombikova is a lawyer practicing in contract, corporate, regulatory and compliance matters, with extensive experience in dispute resolution. She is currently engaged with the healthcare industry and worked in the European Anti-Fraud Office before that.

ANNA KROZSER (IRES, ’12)

Anna Krózser, an alumna of the International Relations department, is a policy adviser to a Member of the European Parliament currently dealing with a variety of issues in the fields of civil liberties, justice and home affairs.

EDLIRA MAJKO (IRES, ’09)

Edlira Majko is a program specialist for the Open Society Roma Initiatives Office where she focuses in strengthening leadership in the Roma movement in Europe. Previously she worked as a researcher for the European Roma Rights Center and the Albanian Institute for International Studies.

ALEXANDER MASLYUK (BUSI, ‘09)

Alexander Maslyuk works with a global IT giant SAP SE as Human Resources Transformation Expert. His job is to advise senior leaders in corporate, government and NGO sector on how to best organize work and manage people and how to utilize their IT systems so that people can achieve more with less. Previously he worked at multinational HR consulting firms, starting as a headhunter and continuing as organizational consultant.

ANAR MEHDIYEV (ENVS, '02)

Anar Mehdiyev has sixteen years of experience as an environmentalist in a global oil and gas company, BP-Azerbaijan. He coordinates environmental management systems across two countries, and environmental compliance is the latest addition to his scope.

VÍT NOVOTNÝ (IRES, ‘94)

Vít Novotný is a researcher with the Martens Centre, the political foundation of the European People's Party. He focuses on migration, asylum and border control.

TAMARA RENDULIC (PHIL ‘12)

Tamara Rendulic is a philosopher who dived into digital marketing, user experience, and product management. After she gained valuable experiences in the banking industry, she is now a product manager in the media industry.

MARA TISSERA LUNA (SPP, ‘17)

Mara Tissera Luna is a researcher and advocate with eight years of experience specializing in children's rights and is currently the project and fundraising manager at the human rights organization Hungarian Helsinki Committee.
